I once had a squirrel visit a pumpkin that was on my front stoop - that was almost 20 years ago! I've been trying to lure one in ever since - no luck. They are so cute to watch.
Hee! I would have assumed the Great Pumpkin had gone cannibal on us, but I guess the simplest explanation really is the best.
